NOTES FROM THE COURT

NOTES FROM THE COURT dives even deeper into a more personal space, built around diary entries from my years on court. Entries about wanting to achieve more, about feeling like I failed, about the moments I told myself there were other things to focus on. Some confessions. Some plans. Some thoughts that don’t always sound “sportsmanlike.”

INNER COURTS

This series explores the tennis court as a metaphor for inner struggle - where doubt, discipline, failure, and resilience collide. Through abstract compositions, it captures the emotional tension of staying in control when everything feels like it’s falling apart... just like in life

EQUILIBRIUM

Equilibrium is a word that, for me, describes the essence of our lives. We constantly need to navigate through this world with all sorts of emotions, actions, scenarios and so our inner balance is what provides us with stability and direction.

This world constantly goes through phases of conflict and change, and we as humans experience similar processes within ourselves: growth, transformation, and inner battles. This body of work invites us to pause and find our own balance. It reminds us that we all share similar challenges and are in search of meaning and inner peace.

SILENT ECHOES

A gentle reminder that the beauty of thoughtfulness and introspection is ever-present, even in the noisiest of times. The modern world, with its constant buzz of updates, notifications, and endless streams of information, often leaves little room for quiet contemplation. It's a world that encourages us to stay on the surface, to keep moving, and to seek immediate gratification. In such an environment, the contemplative soul can easily get drowned out.

INTERNAL LANDSCAPES

This series reflects a phase that has been very intense, filled with strong emotions, thoughts and internal conflicts. A process with different stages.

This collection is dedicated to Anna, Helene, Marlene and Marvin.
